The parents and teachers appreciate our Holiday Camps and Sports Clubs as much as the children do!  Read the testimonials below to find out more.  If you want us to add your testimonial, please do so via our contact form, or email us.

Jo Searle (P.E. Subject Leader, Phillimore Primary School)

"Catch Coaching have worked in our school (Phillimore Primary) since June 2013. I have observed Joe deliver outstanding PE lessons and for this reason when the Sport Premium funding was announced, I decided to employ Catch Coaching to work alongside our school staff to deliver Games based lessons and a programme of CPD. Year groups including FS1, benefit from high quality PE lessons with younger pupils developing and extending their fundamental movement skills, while older pupils apply their knowledge and skills to specific areas of sport. During 2013/14, Catch Coaching worked with Y3s on a programme of Invasion Games. Impact of a successful programme was seen a year later, when our Y4 Basketball team made it through to the Sheffield City Finals.
They respond quickly to emails and are always willing to come into school in their own time to discuss how to improve the CPD programme for teaching staff. This has included detailed planning so that all PE lessons match the school’s specific criteria for ‘outstanding’ lessons bringing uniformity to an area of the curriculum previously overlooked. While their behaviour management is second to none, both have a non-threatening manner which teachers have appreciated.  Children clearly enjoy their PE lessons. When providing evidence of impact, the Y1 teacher wrote “the children cheer and punch the air when they know Joe Boyden is teaching them”.
I would recommend Catch Coaching to any school looking to improve the quality of their Physical Education and to give teaching staff the confidence and competence to deliver their own PE lessons."

Karole Sargent (Headteacher, Totley All Saints)
“We have been fortunate to have Catch Coaching come into our school for over two years. During that time they have coached teaching staff in order to improve their practice & have led after school clubs including football & cricket. Their approach has always been exemplary, their organisation excellent & their ability to inspire  both staff & pupils in PE has been second to none. I can totally recommend Catch Coaching!”

Mark Farrow (P.E. Co-ordinator, Pathways Academy)
“I work as PE Sports Coordinator at Pathways Academy in Sheffield and we have used Catch Coaching services for over a year now. You will find them professional in all their dealings with you. They are reliable, honest and hard working. Nothing is too much trouble.  As an aside, I live in a village where they run Summer and holiday camps and they are well thought of in our community. The parents like us, feel totally confident in leaving their children all day, safe in the knowledge their child will be looked after and learn something new, and have a great time making new friends."

Tom Jones (P.E. Co-ordinator, Valley Park Primary School)

“The session were always high-quality, fun and engaging.  The different levels in the class were well catered for, and the children all showed good progress in their throwing, catching, batting and bowling skills. The whole class was able to take part in a cricket festival later in the summer, and enjoyed the opportunity to practice and show off their, skills.”

Mathew Colin (Sports Lecturer at Longley College)
“Catch Coaching did a fantastic job delivering cricket sessions for Longley Park students.  The sessions were fun, exciting, educational and inclusive for all.  The sessions lead to Longley Park College students being so enthused that they created their first ever indoor cricket team and completed at Headingley. The sessions also helped some of the more talented players to further enhance their bowling, batting and fielding skills to improve performance at their local clubs. I would highly recommend.”

Luke Walker (Exercise Therapist, RIO)
“I have 100% confidence in Joe`s abilities as a coach, instructor and mentor.”

Elizabeth Williams (Parent)
“My 8 year old son attached the Catch Coaching cricket camp this summer.  He loved every day, his cricket skills improved; he won awards and just had a lot of fun.  The camp was run very professionally by Joe and Matt and they interacted with the children very well. Excellent value also. Can`t wait for the next one.”

Lesley Tew (Parent)
“As a parent you are always careful with whom you give responsibility of looking after your child in your absence. I can safely say with my experience so far with all at catch coaching, I am reassured by the level of care my son received and will do in the future. Clear safety provisions were also put in place before I left my boy to enjoy himself.

The facilities are clean, the coaches are very nice, welcoming and encouraging. On collecting my son from the day sessions he was always happy, dirty which is a good sign and smiling, having had lots of fun. He is always very very tired from the activity days too - be careful here - sometimes too tired to return the next day! What more can a parent ask for!”

Oliver - age 11
“I really enjoyed the days I went to catch coaching. I experienced many activities especially cricket and the hunt in the woods. The coaches are very friendly and quickly knew my name. They are helpful and looked after me. I came home very tired. The facilities are very good even when it rains they have Indoor games and activities.”

Victoria Scarborough (Parent)
“Ellie-Lee really enjoys her time at Catch Coaching and she cannot wait till the holidays to come round again to go. She loves to meet new friends and talks about all the fun activities that she gets involved with. She always says 'I wish I could go all the holiday camps mum!' I think this is a great service and would recommend Catch Coaching to any parents. The price is worth it because of the joy it brings to my child. The staff are friendly and approachable and always willing to help."
